Paula Lennon

Paula Lennon was born to Jamaican parents in the West Midlands. She lived in Jamaica during her teens and developed a great affinity for the black, green and gold flag. Although Paula returned to England to study law and was once a London commercial lawyer, she eventually saw sense and returned to live where the weather was more conducive to smiling. Montego Bay, Jamaica is her current base and the whole island serves as a constant source of inspiration for her writing. Her work was long-listed for the Historical Writers’ Association/Sharpe Books Unpublished Novel Award, and she was a finalist in the Screencraft Cinematic Book Contest.
In addition to writing historical tales and stories of magical realism, Paula also writes contemporary murder mysteries. She is the author of the Detective Preddy and Harris murder mystery series scheduled to be published by Joffe Books 2021/2022.
