maximise each writer's creative potential by bespoke strategy.

About the Ki Agency

The Ki Agency was founded in 2011 by Meg Davis to create an agency that is both proactive and responsive to the fast-changing media. The new directions media takes, their trends and their development, are unpredictable, and we adapt with them in order to best serve our clients.

Meg’s background includes work in the theatre and bookselling and a childhood spent listening to her dad trying to explain what it’s like working as a television executive. Meg is joined by agents Fabienne Schwizer and Helen Lane. Fabienne previously worked across sectors and markets in publishing, academia and reviewing. Helen is an agent with experience in the US and UK markets.

In 2015, Ki purchased the Burkeman and Clarke agency, which added well-known authors in both non-fiction and fiction to our roster. We continue to expand our list judiciously but enthusiastically.

We also represent the Film/TV rights of a select group of book-only literary agencies. As members of the Personal Managers’ Association and the Association of Authors’ Agents, we abide by their Codes of Practice.

See our About page for more details, and submission guidelines.
