A. D. Cooper has won a number of awards for her short films, and has also been involved in interactive TV, and programmes over different platforms. Her most recent film Leisure was a co-winner at the Visual Poetry Project, New York, and her previous film Home to the Hangers has won 3 awards, including A Certain Regard (Cinematography) at Purbeck, Special Category Award at the Imperial War Museum, and Best British Short Film at Southampton.
She has a copywriter background, and her work producing sizzle reels and promotional films has translated itself into a striking and original style.
She currently has a new short film in development with Camille Gatin and Emily Brancher, and a film with The Canning Factory, and a play selected for the One Act Play Festival in June 2019 at the Oval House. She writes for both feature film and television drama.
